A war between humankind and monstrous sea creatures wages on in the action-adventure, Pacific Rim, which finds humanity at war with enormous lizard-like monsters called Kaiju.
Stopping them before the entire planet is destroyed is the job of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and it’s Jaegers which are 25-story high fighting robots operated by two pilots. Pacific Rim follows a former pilot and a trainee as they are paired up to drive a seemingly obsolete special weapon in a desperate effort to save the world from the apocalypse.
