‘Divorce’ & ‘Crashing’ Get Season 2 Premiere Dates On HBO..

HBO has set Season 2 premiere dates for a pair of its comedy series. The premium cable outlet said today that Divorce, starring its Sex and the City alum Sarah Jessica Parker, will return at 10 PM Sunday, January 14, followed by the Pete Holmes series Crashing at 10:30 PM.

The eight-episode Season 2 of Divorce finds Frances (Parker) and her ex-husband, Robert (Thomas Haden Church), dealing with the aftermath of their explosive separation and learning to rebuild their lives. Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins and Charlie Kilgore also star and Steven Pasquale will recur on the show from creator Sharon Horgan, who exec produces along with new showrunner Jenny Bicks, Parker, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.

Created by and starring Holmes, Crashing‘s eight-episode sophomore season see Pete (Holmes) feeling lost in the universe. He has an enlightening conversation with an atheist, which sends him into a night of New York debauchery. It leads Pete to start questioning his faith and find his voice. Holmes also executive produces the series with Judd Apatow and Judah Miller; Igor Srubshchik is co-executive producer, Oren Brimer is supervising producer, and Josh Church and Dave Rath are producers.
