The words made famous in the 1951 sci-fi classic The Day the Earth Stood Still must be uttered once again in this striking, effects-filled remake. Keanu Reeves stars as the alien Klaatu who arrives on Earth to eye-popping effect with a warning for mankind: stop poisoning the planet or face extermination at the hands of his massive robot/weapon Gort. Jennifer Connelly co-stars as a widowed scientist who may be the only hope for stopping Klaatu from making good on his devastating promise. Jaden Smith, John Cleese, Jon Hamm and Kathy Bates co-star.
