Togetherness, the new sitcom coming to HBO!

togetherness

Togetherness, the pilot from brothers Jay and Mark Duplass will kick off Sunday, January 11th @ 8:30pm on HBO.

The show will follow four adults living under the same roof who must work on their relationships while pursuing individual goals. We first learned that Bent actress Amanda Peet would be joining the pilot as Tina, a smart woman who movies to Los Angeles and decides to board with her sister. Early on, Melanie Lynskey was also signed on to the pilot as the aforementioned sister.

The two will be living under the same roof with Lynskey’s husband on the show, who will be played by Duplass (Assumedly, this won’t cut into his work over at FX), and Alex, a recently homeless dude who needs to crash at the house for a while. Alex will be played by frequent Duplass collaborator Steve Zissis, who has taken roles in Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon, and will also write and serve as a consulting producer on the series.
