Effective 12th May 2016, Green Dot brings to you, a new and improved Sports Pass adrenaline rush premium package which replaces the Max Pak (Sportsmax). You will have access to more exciting and live multi-disciplined sporting events worldwide including upcoming Summer Olympics (Rio 2016) and 2018 Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers for the same price of TTD 74.99 (VAT exclusive), without losing the highly watched and loved sporting events such as IPL and BPL.

We introduce to you Sports Pass premium package Fight Box, RUSH and Fast & Fun Box. Sports Pass gives you front row seats to be the first in viewing live broadcasts of the most exciting kickboxing, MMA, boxing, karate, jiu jitsu, muay-thai, taekwondo, cage fighting and sumo fights from Europe and America, with events such as Fight Exclusive Night, Cage Fury Fighting and Superkombat.

Our need for speed sporting Green Dot enthusiasts can witness unbelievable performances in FMX, Skydiving, Sailing, Auto Speed with international racing and rallying, new car releases from the world’s most prestigious motor shows and much more. Green Dot will be enhancing our customers viewing entertainment experiences even more by providing RUSH.

Why is Green Dot removing the Max Pax (Sportsmax) premium package?

We at Green Dot are committed to provide you with entertainment that is important to you and your family. Our new Sports Pass package provides exactly that and more, with a wider array of live sporting events in Europe and America, while ensuring you have access to key sporting events such as BPL (Barclay’s Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), Summer Olympics (Rio 2016) and 2018 Concacaf Russia World Cup Qualifiers. The decision to remove Max Pak (Sportsmax) was based on the fact that they have lost the rights to key sporting events including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Barclay’s Premier League.

When will this change take effect?

Sports Pass will be available for viewing from Thursday 12th May 2016. You will have to rescan (factory default) your set top box to view the exciting premium package line up.

What are the channel numbers?

The channel numbers are as follows: i) 302 RUSH ii) 303 Fight Box iii) 304 – Fast & Fun Box

Do I have to pay more for the three (3) channels (Sport Pass premium package)?

No. You pay nothing more for this enhanced holistic sporting experience.

Would I have to make any change on my set top box to get the new channels?

Yes. To view all channels in the Sports Pass premium package lineup, you will have to rescan (factory default) your set top box. This rescan (factory default) should be done from Thursday 12th May 2016 to effect the change. The easy step-by-step instructions can be emailed to you; it will also be available via our website www.gd.tt, or you can contact one of our courteous and friendly Green Dot team members at 623-4643, to guide you through the process.

Will I be able to see the final league fixture on May 18th, 2016 for the Barclay's Premier League (BPL)?

Yes. You can view this without having to rescan (factory default) your set top box.

What is the Fight Box channel about?

Fight Box is a unique worldwide channel presenting a compilation of the finest combat sports from around the globe all on one channel. Live broadcast of the biggest events and the most exciting fights from Europe and America: Fight Exclusive Night, Cage Fury Fighting Championships, King of Kings Hero’s Series, Makowski Fighting Championships, Superkombat, Oktagon and Mix Fight Gala. Multi-discipline coverage: MMA, kickboxing, boxing (male & female), wrestling, arm-wrestling, karate, jiu-jitsu, taekwondo, sumo, capoeira, judo, muay-thai, cage-fighting, wushu, sanda and more.

What is the Fast & Fun Box channel about?

It’s Fast, It’s Fun, It’s Extreme Fast & Fun Box is a worldwide channel that offers an action-packed, adrenaline-including medley of extreme sports, from car racing and motor cross to snowboarding and skateboarding to skydiving and BMX to boating and sailing; a large variety of disciplines, shows and competitions from all over the world.

Customers who have subscribed to the Max Pak Package must perform a “factory default” reset of their Set Top Box to access the Sports Pass Package and it’s new channels. See below for instructions on resetting your Set Top Box.

Instructions to perform “factory default” reset of a Set Top Box

Reset the Opentel Set Top Box

If you have a Black Set Top Box with a label (Opentel) which is located at the front-left corner of the cable box, you will be required to perform the below steps:
  1. On the remote, press MENU > Setting > press OK > Factory Default > press OK > enter (0) zero x 4 (0000). STB will now be on the Installation screen scanning all GD frequencies.
  2. Once the scan is complete, please proceed as indicated by the prompt on the screen (Search complete – press Menu to exit).
  3. The television will now be on IETV.
  4. Having completed the above steps, you can begin viewing our Digital TV services once again.

Reset the Coretrust Set Top Box

If you have a Black Set Top Box with a RED LED front-display with Silver buttons, you will be required to perform the below steps:
  1. On the remote, press MENU > Installation > Factory Default > OK to select Factory Default > enter (0) zero x 4 (0000). STB will now show a Warning prompt, simply press the OK button. You will now be taken to the Channel Search screen where the STB will scan all GD frequencies.
  2. Once the scan is complete, another prompt called Information will appear on the screen displaying the total number of TV and Radio channels that were scanned; this indicates that the scan was successful. Simply press OK to exit.
  3. The television will now be on IETV.
  4. Having completed the above steps, you can begin viewing our Digital TV services once again

Reset the Coship Set Top Box

If you have a Grey Set Top Box, you will only be required to perform the below steps:
  1. Turn off the Set Top Box via the toggle switch at the back-left corner of the STB, wait 3secs and turn it back on.
  2. When the STB has been fully turned on, press MENU on your remote to enter the MAIN MENU screen
  3. Using the UP or DOWN arrow keys, highlight USER SETUP
  4. Using the arrow keys, highlight FACTORY DEFAULT and press OK
  5. Using your remote, press number ZERO x 4 0000
  6. A prompt will appear on the screen with OK being highlighted, press OK on the remote
  7. On the SCANNING screen, when the PROGRESS BAR (a red bar) reaches 100%, press MENU to save the settings.
  8. Once the previous steps are completed, you can begin viewing our Digital TV services once again

Reset the Topfield Set Top Box

If you have a Black Set Top Box with a label (Topfield) which is located at the front-left of the cable box display, you will be required to perform the below steps:
  1. Press MENU on your remote, which will display a list of five options on your television
  2. Using the UP or DOWN arrow keys on your remote, highlight INSTALLATION and press OK on your remote
  3. Highlight FACTORY SETTING and press OK
  4. When prompted to Reset All Data , highlight YES and press OK
  5. Once you are taken to a screen that says SEARCHING to the top left hand corner, immediately press EXIT twice on your remote
  6. Now your television will once again display a list of five options. If you are able to see anything other than the list of five options, please begin from Step 1 again.
  7. Highlight INSTALLATION and press OK
  8. Highlight SERVICE SEARCH and press OK
  9. Change your SEARCH MODE to MANUAL using the LEFT or RIGHT arrow keys
  10. Press the DOWN arrow key and highlight CHANNEL
  11. Using the LEFT or RIGHT arrow keys, select channel 41
  12. Using the UP or DOWN arrow keys, highlight START SEARCH and press OK
  13. When the search is completed, it will list the total number of TV and Radio services that were received. Press OK to save these services.
  14. Repeat steps 9 through 13, but this time you will be individually searching for the TV and Radio services on the following channels which you will select when you get to step 11 channel 44, 45, and 46, and 47, and 48.
