After an explosion at the S.T.A.R. labs particle accelerator, forensic investigator Barry Allen aka The Flash is bestowed with superhuman speed. The Flash, chronicles his experiences as he uses his special powers to help fight crime in Central City, where only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive.
The Flash television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, will be based on the DC Comics character Flash. The pilot for the series was written by Berlanti, Kreisberg and Johns, and directed by David Nutter.
